Andy Hughes is an award-winning, chart-topping singer-songwriter who has spent the last 20 years immersed in the music scene of the Upper-Midwest. For much of that time, Andy has been the front-man and songwriter for the successful ska/reggaeband, TUGG. With TUGG, Andy has toured the U.S. with The Wailers, The Dirty Heads, Passafire, and more.  A life-long fan of classic country – Hughes counts Johnny Cash, Kris Kristofferson, and John Prine among his influences. Andy Hughes & The Mighty Few is a mix of country and folk with touches of bluegrass and alternative country.

The Lake Effect

Stacy Hanson (Red Sky Warning) and Andy Hughes (TUGG) form the creative collective known as Broken Wrist Records. Performing songs together as The Lake Effect; they are quickly becoming one of the Driftless area’s “must-see” groups. Part Dispatch, part Jamestown Revival, part dueling one-man band. They are completely unique. Built on a bed of folk songs and acoustic guitars, what sets Hanson & Hughes apart from their contemporaries is their effortless chemistry; likely built from a decade-plus friendship and combined, 40 years of touring and performing. You gotta see ‘em to believe ‘em.

Get Directions

Dash-Park is located across from Great River Landing in downtown Onalaska, Wisconsin.

It is an outdoor venue with some seating on-site; it would be a good idea to bring a comfortable chair or blanket just in case, along with sunglasses, water, and some snacks (or even order dinner to-go from one of the great downtown restaurants nearby!).
